About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team! You will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, provide in-class support for individual students and small groups, and help create a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, you will develop and implement bespoke interventions for students in partnership with teaching staff.

Our specialist multi-disciplinary team of leaders, carers, therapists, and educationalists work seamlessly together to teach and proactively support pupils who have experienced adverse childhood experiences, including trauma, toxic stress, and associated mental wellbeing difficulties. Children and young people may also come to us challenged by ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or moderate and specific learning difficulties.
High Peak School, part of Kedleston Group, specialises in providing education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), ADHD, and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
