About the Role
Linklaters is a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices. We pride ourselves on being a people business, where exceptional talent thrives in a collaborative, innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible environment. We foster a positive, supportive, fair, and inclusive atmosphere that values diversity and challenges bias.

As a Technology & Data Engagement Advisor, you will bring direction and priorities to life by working closely with the Strategy Lead and accountable leaders to understand Technology & Data’s strategic direction, priorities, programmes, and key activities. You will communicate why these matter to the firm, clients, and colleagues while ensuring decisions remain with the relevant owners.

You will develop sufficient organisational and technical understanding to communicate accurately and confidently, connect different perspectives, identify gaps, and direct questions appropriately. Planning communication and engagement will be key, turning Technology & Data activities into a cohesive forward plan tailored to audience needs, with a clear rhythm throughout the year that evolves based on feedback.

You will create clear, concise materials such as packs, briefings, and presentations, resolving editorial issues and highlighting substantive gaps before distribution. Working closely with the CTDO, Strategy Lead, and leadership team, you will coordinate town halls and forums to facilitate direct communication between leaders and colleagues.

Turning roadmaps, KPI scorecards, and leadership updates into clear accounts of progress, outcomes, and risks will be part of your role, ensuring coherent storytelling and actionable insights for each audience. You will foster inclusive, two-way engagement across the global Technology & Data community and relevant firm colleagues, encouraging understanding, action, and knowledge sharing.

Additionally, you will coordinate planned and ad hoc activities, making it easy for busy colleagues to contribute and keeping everyone aligned on expectations and timelines.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in communications, change, consulting, analysis, technology, or related fields is beneficial but not essential. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 engagement channels is useful but not central to the role.

About you
You communicate exceptionally well in writing, presentations, and in person, making complex subjects clear without losing essential detail. You can work across strategic, programme, and operational contexts, adapting communication while maintaining a coherent narrative.

You think analytically, seeing how different parts of an organisation interrelate, building coherent pictures from incomplete or conflicting information, and identifying important gaps. You are curious, ask incisive questions, test assumptions, learn quickly, and distinguish central issues from supporting details.

You enjoy collaborating with people from diverse expertise and perspectives, listen well, earn trust, and are comfortable asking constructive questions, including with senior colleagues. You have a genuine interest in how technology and data can improve the firm.

You are highly organised and dependable, able to manage multiple priorities, coordinate busy contributors, and maintain quality under pressure.

A rigorous analytical, scientific, or technical background is useful but not essential. What matters most is how you think, learn, and apply new knowledge.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required for this role. We value your mindset, communication skills, and ability to make complex subjects accessible over formal credentials.
