About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. As Technology Manager, you will support the delivery of technology infrastructure services and provide technical project delivery expertise. You will serve as the day-to-day technical lead interfacing with strategic third-party suppliers and MSPs, translating high-level architecture roadmaps set by senior technology leadership into clear, actionable work packages for outsourced partners to execute. You will ensure external suppliers adhere strictly to company infrastructure policies, security baselines, and architectural standards across all global environments. Acting as a core technical reviewer on the change advisory board (CAB), you will scrutinize vendor-submitted changes, evaluate risk, and protect business continuity. Building strong relationships with internal business teams, you will gather requirements and translate them into clear operational briefs for our supplier network. You will proactively monitor and work alongside suppliers to identify opportunities to support the business’s key strategic objectives and provide information for the design of an infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals. Additionally, you will support and provide solutions for the design and technical implementation of Mace’s IT infrastructure policy and standards, delivering guidance for large, global infrastructure and network estates through a complex supplier-led matrix. You will work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
