During your first year, you will spend four days each week in the London office and one day dedicated to study. After 12 months, hybrid working is available with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

About the Role
Start your career at the intersection of AI, business transformation and risk with WTW. As a Financial Crime Apprentice, you will contribute to one of the world’s leading advisory businesses by supporting financial crime risk management, process improvement, and AI-driven transformation initiatives. You will play an active role in Propel, WTW’s transformation programme, helping to evaluate, test and implement AI-powered solutions while developing expertise in risk, data and business operations. This 15-month apprenticeship combines practical business experience with a nationally recognised Level 3 Compliance & Risk Officer qualification.

Responsibilities include supporting financial crime and KYC processes, analysing data and workflows to identify risks and efficiencies, assisting with AI tool testing and implementation, embedding financial crime requirements into daily activities, responding to queries, supporting process reviews, and collaborating across teams to drive change and adoption. You will gain exposure to financial crime operations, process optimisation, data analysis, emerging technologies and cross-functional collaboration.

This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, understanding business operations, and using technology to improve outcomes. You will be encouraged to challenge existing ways of working and explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance risk management. Over the course of the programme, you will develop a blend of analytical, technical and business skills that could lead to future opportunities in Financial Crime, Risk & Compliance, Business Analysis, Project Management, AI & Digital Transformation, Process Improvement, Technology Change & Adoption, or Consulting.

Experience
No prior experience is required. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals eager to learn and develop new skills in financial crime and risk management.
