Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst within the Building Safety & Asset Data Team, this role sits within the Council Housing (Homes) Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team supporting the management of housing asset data during a period of ongoing digital transformation. You will play an important role in maintaining high-quality asset information, supporting investment planning, compliance activities and business decision-making across Council Housing.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for data quality. You will be confident working with large datasets, identifying trends and producing accurate information to support operational and strategic objectives.

Within this role, you will:
- Analyse, validate and maintain housing asset data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness
- Produce reports, dashboards and data insights to support compliance, investment planning and service improvement
- Support the management and development of the Asset Management System and associated datasets
- Undertake data cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance activities
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and contractors to improve data collection and governance processes
- Assist in the development of new reporting tools, systems and ways of working to enhance data-driven decision making

Requirements

Experience
Strong analytical skills with experience working confidently with large datasets. Experience in data validation, cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance is desirable.

A keen eye for detail and a passion for data quality. Ability to identify trends and produce accurate information to support operational and strategic objectives. Collaborative team player with good communication skills and a proactive approach to improving data governance and reporting processes.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in data analysis, asset management, or a related field would be advantageous but are not explicitly stated.
