About the Role
Enfield Council offers exciting opportunities for qualified Occupational Therapists within our Adult Social Care teams. You will work alongside Social Workers and Social Care assessors using a strength-based approach to promote independence and well-being. Your work will align with the Care Act to support service users’ choice and control in their daily lives, ensuring they can contribute to society and maintain meaningful, autonomous, and self-determined lives.
The teams focus on delivering the best outcomes for service users by promoting a seamless service across the adult pathway. Enfield prides itself on a culture of learning and career development, providing personal development plans, training, and supervisory support.
We are open to rotation between different teams and alternative ways of working. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and be skilled in gathering and recording information to prioritise queries, resolve problems, and signpost to alternative services. You will be highly motivated and experienced in managing complex and emotionally challenging situations with dignity and respect, ensuring service users and carers are fully engaged in the assessment process in line with personalisation and self-directed support principles.
