About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Best Start Inclusion Practice Manager to lead and develop our new Best Start Inclusion offer, ensuring children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the right support at the earliest opportunity. As a strategic and operational lead, you will manage a team of Best Start Inclusion Practitioners, driving high-quality, evidence-informed practice across Family Hubs, early years settings, family homes and community outreach services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape an innovative service that supports families, promotes early identification of SEND, strengthens inclusion across the early years sector, and improves outcomes for children and families across Enfield.

Experience
Significant experience in SEND, early years inclusion, early help or a related service. Proven leadership experience managing teams and supervising practitioners. Experience delivering interventions, supporting families and working collaboratively across health, education and social care sectors. Strong understanding of child development from birth to five years, the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding, early identification processes and inclusive practice.
About you
A confident and inspiring leader with the ability to influence practice, build strong partnerships and drive service improvement through effective use of data, evidence and quality assurance. Excellent communication skills with a solution-focused approach, strong organisational skills and a commitment to supporting children and families from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, along with evidence of continuous professional development in SEND.
