About the Role
This is a great opportunity for aspiring Registered Building Control Inspectors. Brent is a vibrant London borough characterized by its diversity and iconic landmarks, such as Wembley Stadium. As part of our transformation agenda, we are seeking newly qualified Building Surveyors at RBI Class 1 to assist in delivering an effective Building Control Service for various domestic, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will work closely with senior officers, taking responsibility for surveying requirements in designated areas of the borough. You will also handle building control inquiries and tasks independently when required.

Experience
Recent Building Control knowledge and experience is essential.

About you
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and customer-focused surveyors who are ambitious and forward-thinking. You should be registered under a credited institute and working towards becoming a chartered professional. Effective communication skills with all stakeholders are necessary, along with technical proficiency to promote and represent the Building Control service.

Qualifications
A full driving license and access to a car are required for this role. You will receive a car mileage allowance and a parking permit for use within the borough. You will be encouraged to work towards the BSR Class 2(A/D) and to undertake ongoing CPD training via the myLABC programme and your Professional Institute's requirements.
