About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a property professional to develop skills in property project management. The post holder will contribute to delivering the Council's property programmes, supporting housing and regeneration priorities through significant property acquisitions.
You will be involved in large-scale programmes delivering property and housing solutions for residents, including key acquisition initiatives such as Investment for Brent (i4B), Local Authority Housing Fund (LAHF Round 3 & 4), and Council Homes Acquisition Programmes (CHAP).
Experience
Experience visiting and inspecting properties with a sound understanding of property standards, design, and construction. Knowledge and experience of property acquisition and conveyancing processes are essential.
Strong written communication skills including report writing and market data analysis. Ability to present information clearly, methodically, and accurately.
Experience negotiating and delivering presentations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Proactive approach to property-related matters and effective collaborative working skills as part of a team.

Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
Team player with strong communication skills, able to work closely with Property Acquisition and Disposal officers and Estate Surveyors.
Sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
Aspiring to become a property professional with AssocRICS or MRICS qualifications desirable.
Full clean driving licence required.
