As part of the Smart Together Shared Service, which is transforming procurement and supply chain services across South East London, the Assistant Business Intelligence Manager will join the Systems & Data Team within the Performance Excellence function. This role is key to delivering business intelligence, reporting, and analysis that supports decision-making, service improvement, cost reduction, and effective use of procurement and supply chain data.
The post holder will develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI and other analytical platforms, analyse complex datasets, support category management, cost improvement programmes, budget planning, and procurement strategy development. They will work closely with colleagues, Shared Service partners, and suppliers to improve data quality, support systems development, and translate complex information into clear, actionable insight.

The Assistant Business Intelligence Manager will also provide training, advice, and support to colleagues and assist the Business Intelligence Manager in delivering team objectives and strategic initiatives.
Experience
- Experience working as part of a team with the ability to develop contacts and build networks
- Administrative experience and good data literacy, including business intelligence toolsets
- Experience managing projects, preparing reports, and providing business support
- Experience in systems and data management within a public sector environment

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business administration, data science, analytics, procurement, or supply chain
- Evidence of continuing professional development
