About the Role
The Assistant Manager will manage and support the delivery of day-to-day resident experience objectives, leading the team by example to build a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community that residents enjoy being part of. Assisting the Community Manager in the financial and operational management of the property, including leasing, marketing, property maintenance, and tenancy administration.

Key responsibilities include acting as a role model by demonstrating core values, managing viewing activities to ensure company standards are met, actively participating in leasing processes, generating and monitoring traffic, qualifying prospects, preparing tenancy documentation, and managing move-in/move-out procedures.

The role involves using property systems to generate sales and leasing reports, maintaining accurate unit availability data, proactively engaging with residents to improve service delivery, overseeing on-site enquiries, recommending rent pricing and concessions, and monitoring sales and leasing activities.

The Assistant Manager will develop and maintain local knowledge relevant to resident needs, stay informed about market and competitor conditions, promote resident satisfaction and retention by timely response to queries and complaints, coordinate tenancy management including inspections and rent arrears management, and work with maintenance to ensure community standards.

Additional duties include promoting investor satisfaction through timely reporting, reviewing financial and operational reports to resolve leasing issues, acting up for the Community Manager when required, participating in an on-call roster for emergency support, ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations, processing invoices accurately, and managing stock takes and orders to ensure efficient site operation.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven track record in driving leasing/sales performance and managing property operations including P&L responsibility and budget monitoring.
- Experience in a similar management role or environment.
- Detailed knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Legislation.
- Knowledge and understanding of UK Health and Safety policies.

Qualifications
- Good level of general education.
