About the Role
As a Housekeeper at Greystar, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the community. This includes ensuring all internal communal spaces, reception and office areas, amenities, and external areas are clean and well-presented to enhance community appeal and provide a positive resident experience. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive onsite team to ensure residents enjoy a high standard of cleanliness throughout their community.

Your key responsibilities will include cleaning reception, offices, common spaces, and restrooms; conducting daily litter picks of all external areas; freshening empty rooms, apartments, and show flats throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal; performing weekly flush downs in empty rooms and apartments following health and safety policies; assisting with make-ready processes as requested by the Community Manager or supervisor; reporting hazards or maintenance issues; responding to resident queries or concerns; and managing cleaning supplies efficiently to champion cost effectiveness without compromising quality.

Experience
Previous experience maintaining cleanliness within a customer-occupied environment is essential. Demonstrated ability to solve problems in practical situations and follow standardized procedures is required. Ability to work autonomously and use initiative when necessary is important.

About you
You should have strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to work, adapting well to a changing environment. Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills is necessary to interact effectively and courteously with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts.

Qualifications
Ability to read and write English to a level that enables full understanding and compliance with product safety labels, COSHH policy, and procedure manuals. Knowledge and understanding of UK health and safety requirements. Skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
