About the Role
The Senior Data & AI Analyst will be a key member of the Data & Analytics Team, initially focusing on the UK market with the expectation to support other countries as needed. This role supports the delivery of asset business plan targets and operational excellence by generating and analysing reports on property management performance. The analyst will gather and interpret market, client, and portfolio data to provide management with insights to improve NOI, commercial performance, and customer satisfaction. A strong emphasis will be placed on championing AI tools to enhance the speed, accuracy, and scalability of reporting and analysis.

The role involves close collaboration with UK Operational and Asset Management teams and direction from Senior Management. Responsibilities include developing consistent KPIs and reports using AI-assisted tools, supporting financial and data analysis activities, managing leasing reporting processes, and acting as the regional Subject Matter Expert for AI. The analyst will build AI-powered solutions, support non-technical colleagues in AI adoption, and work cross-functionally to connect insights with operational execution.

Additional duties include gathering and analysing financial and market data to assess portfolio performance, participating in process improvement projects, liaising with IT/Systems teams for data provision and system optimisation, supporting rent and budget-setting processes, and contributing to acquisition due diligence and asset openings. The role also supports service-cost reporting, price versus allowance analysis, and service-charge administration.

Experience
- Proven track record working within a data/analytics team
- Experience with data lakes and data warehouses
- Experience working with large data sets and segmenting data
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications
- Experience in testing and data quality practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Significant experience managing contracts, services, and external resource providers
- Experience optimising data and processes in multi-language and multi-currency environments
- Experience in real estate or related industries is preferable but not essential

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service and Workspaces, Power Query, DAX, data modelling and related technologies
- Proficient in SQL and Python; experience with Databricks is a plus
- Effective use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in analytics, including prompt engineering to generate reliable code
- Ability to prepare and explain data and analytics clearly in writing and verbally
