About the Role
As a Housekeeper at Greystar, you will ensure the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of the community, including external litter, all internal communal spaces, reception and office areas, and other amenities. Your role is vital in enhancing and maintaining the community appeal and providing a positive resident experience. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team within the Community team to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the community. Key responsibilities include cleaning reception, offices, common spaces, and restrooms; daily litter picking of all external areas; freshening empty rooms, apartments, and targeted show flats; conducting weekly flush downs in empty units in line with health and safety policies; assisting in the make-ready process as requested; reporting hazards and maintenance issues; and managing cleaning supplies efficiently while championing cost-effective practices without compromising quality.
Experience
Previous experience maintaining cleanliness within a customer-occupied environment is essential. Demonstrated ability to solve problems in practical situations and follow standardized procedures. Ability to work autonomously and use initiative when required.
About you
Strong attention to detail with a flexible and adaptable approach to thrive in a changing environment. Proficient customer service and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively and courteously with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts.
Qualifications
Ability to read and write English to a level that enables full understanding and compliance with product safety labels, COSHH policy, and procedure manuals. Knowledge and understanding of UK health and safety requirements. Skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
