About the Role
Join the Regeneration & Development Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) and help shape the next generation of high quality, affordable homes across London and the Northwest. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of new build residential and regeneration schemes from procurement through to handover, ensuring projects stay on track for time, cost, and quality.

You will assist with day-to-day project delivery, manage building contracts and development agreements, support tender document compilation and contract awards, monitor contractor progress, escalate issues, and maintain robust project reporting and document management.

Additionally, you will contribute to monitoring long-term social and economic regeneration opportunities, including employment and training initiatives, and build strong working relationships with colleagues, local authorities, planning authorities, landowners, house builders, agents, contractors, and consultants.

Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality schemes on time and within budget, helping the team meet its business plan targets.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven aptitude for project management within the built environment or housing sector
- Some financial and commercial acumen with associated risk management skills
- Experience working positively in customer-facing environments

- Excellent presentation and networking skills with confidence to collaborate, negotiate and influence stakeholders
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a demanding environment
- Delivery focused approach, able to identify risks and propose effective solutions with minimal supervision
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing
- Good computer literacy with proven competency in MS Office and ability to manage simple business systems and databases

Qualifications
- Desirable: Degree educated or equivalent
- Desirable: Understanding of identifying and exercising control over risk
