Property Manager – London Living Rent (Temporary, Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role
Join London and Quadrant Housing Trust's London Living Rent (LLR) team on a fixed term contract until January 2027. This role offers a hybrid working pattern with 20% to 40% of contractual hours worked from the reporting office or working location.
As a Property Manager within the LLR team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of affordable homes across London, delivering outstanding customer experiences and supporting residents on their journey towards home ownership. You will be responsible for maximising rental income, sustaining tenancies, minimising voids, and ensuring compliance with housing legislation and organisational policies.
You will work closely with residents, contractors, managing agents, and internal stakeholders to maintain high standards of property management and resident services. Experience
- Proven experience in property management, ideally within the private rented sector.
- Experience in residential property management, housing management or lettings within the private rented sector, affordable housing sector or Build to Rent environment.
- Good understanding of tenancy management and relevant housing legislation, including Assured Shorthold Tenancies.
- Knowledge of affordable housing products such as London Living Rent, Intermediate Rent or similar tenures.
- Experience managing tenancy renewals, rent reviews and resident retention activities.
- Experience handling complaints and resolving complex customer issues.
- Track record of delivering against performance targets and deadlines in a customer-focused housing or lettings environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and CRM or housing management systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Understanding of legal processes relating to tenancy breaches, arrears and possession action.
