About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, Moody’s is advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that understands complexity and responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
As an Associate Director - Relationship Manager, you will manage the full sales lifecycle for a portfolio of banking clients, deepen strategic relationships with existing customers, and drive new business growth across Europe and Africa. You will drive strategic engagement and commercial relationships with key banking customers by developing a deep understanding of their business priorities, challenges, and growth objectives. Your role includes client retention and renewal success, identifying and delivering value-creating opportunities, and building trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers across bank leadership, risk, finance, treasury, and lending functions.
You will develop and execute account strategies to expand Moody’s footprint within existing banking clients and uncover new opportunities across multiple business lines. Prospecting and winning new banking customers within the Europe & African markets will be a key focus, converting white-space opportunities into long-term client relationships. Serving as the primary relationship owner and escalation point for customers, you will coordinate internal teams to address opportunities, resolve issues, and enhance client outcomes.
Leveraging deep insight into the banking sector, regulatory landscape, and market trends, you will identify customer opportunities and risks and translate them into strategic or tactical actions. Collaboration across Moody’s teams to deliver an integrated customer experience and ensure successful execution of client strategies and initiatives is essential. You will maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring achievement of revenue and business development objectives.
This position offers a dynamic work environment with a hybrid working model and requires up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face.
