About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We seek candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
The Business Process Transformation team is responsible for transforming the quote to cash processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the ratings workflow. We contribute to business growth by digitalizing the quote to cash workflow, improving sales processes, and enhancing customer engagement. By joining our team, you will be part of a fast-paced team working on digital transformation and AI innovation.
As AVP, you will lead business process transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, governance, scalability, and business performance across the Commercial organisation. You will lead end-to-end transformation of medium to high complexity business processes, ensuring alignment with strategic, operational, and regulatory objectives. You will develop and execute transformation roadmaps that improve operational efficiency, customer outcomes, control effectiveness, and process scalability.
You will manage the full lifecycle of transformation initiatives, including business case development, requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to business-as-usual operations. Partnering with Commercial, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Control teams, you will deliver cross-functional change and achieve measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities also include establishing and maintaining process governance, performance measurement frameworks, key performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to monitor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. You will analyse operational data and process performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities, root causes, and automation use cases. Additionally, you will design and implement control frameworks that support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and issue remediation.
You will drive organisational adoption of process excellence methodologies, documentation standards, and continuous improvement practices through coaching, training, and stakeholder engagement. Representing Business Process Transformation within governance forums and leadership discussions, you will influence strategic decisions and prioritisation. You will promote innovation and digitalisation by identifying opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and advanced analytics to improve business processes.
