About the Role
Cingularity, a specialised global fibre network provider and part of IMG, is seeking a Broadcast Solutions Engineer to join their team during a period of development and expansion. You will play a key role in driving client uptake of Cingularity solutions, working closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership, influence business direction, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify technical requirements and design tailored solutions for both event-based and permanent services. You will engage directly with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project initiation and delivery. Working remotely with occasional office visits, you will be part of a small, agile team delivering premium live broadcast TV transmission services to leading sports rights holders and broadcasters worldwide.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Broadcast Engineer or similar role, ideally with degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing solutions in global telecommunications, video IP delivery, data transmission, contribution and distribution.
- Strong knowledge of broadcast services, sports, and event broadcasting.
- Excellent understanding of telecommunications service providers' products, technologies, markets, and business models.
- Expertise in video media processing (encoding/decoding) and industry standard codecs including MPEG, JPEG 2000, and JPEG XS.
- Familiarity with transmission and monitoring equipment such as encoders, decoders, video routers, DAs, IP gateways, multiviewers, and transport stream monitoring.
- Knowledge of Net Insight portfolio, especially MSR platform, is highly advantageous.
- Working knowledge of broadcast environments, workflows, and broadcast IP technologies including SMPTE standards, switching, routing, and multicast.
- Experience with SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) delivery for low-latency video contribution and distribution over unmanaged IP networks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Omnigraffle, or similar applications for solution design.
- Experience with Office 365 or G-Suite, with strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM and opportunity-tracking software is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies.
