About the Role
Do you have a passion for leading the way in providing genuine hospitality and impeccable service? Can you motivate a team? Are you friendly, professional and efficient? If so, this is the role for you. At BaxterStorey, every interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting impression. We are seeking a Catering Manager who inspires their team to exceed expectations at every turn.
As a trailblazer in the hospitality industry, we welcome individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional experiences and creating unforgettable moments. We support our people in an inclusive environment that encourages growth and celebrates diversity. You will receive ongoing training to develop your skills and knowledge, ensuring you thrive in your role. We also guarantee a good work-life balance because we believe people excel when given space to take care of themselves.
The Catering Manager will take overall responsibility for the delivery of all operational services in London, reporting to the Account Manager and supporting the Southampton office with a dotted line report to the General Manager. This includes responsibility for restaurants, coffee bars, shops, hospitality offers, and the overall culinary experience in London, while supporting the Southampton team.
Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth business operations alongside the Account Manager and General Manager, deputising in their absence, driving sales through innovation and creativity, and encouraging managers to do the same. You will lead initiatives to deliver best-in-class client experiences, keep abreast of market and industry trends, and work collaboratively with teams such as Events and Culinary to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Working closely with BaxterStorey and clients, you will drive strategic growth, financial performance, and innovation across retail and hospitality services. You will control costs, work towards or exceed budgets and financial targets, ensure all audits and administrative procedures comply with company policy, adhere to KPIs, manage non-compliance, and promote ESG initiatives.
Join us and be part of a company that has created beautiful spaces, exciting menus, and friendly teams for almost 20 years, delivering the hospitality experience every customer deserves. We are committed to supporting your career growth and development as part of our food revolution.
