About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings. As a General Assistant you will assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner in line with established menus and recipes. You will support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, including general food preparation tasks. Responsibilities also include picking up and checking deliveries, helping the facility team with room setups, carrying out washing-up duties during busy periods, and keeping front-of-house areas clean and organised, including managing dishes and utensils.

You will follow correct food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination, maintain tea points around the building by restocking supplies and washing up as needed, and participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Training will be provided; however, a positive attitude, a genuine smile, a commitment to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.

Experience
Ideally have experience working within education catering and good Health & Safety knowledge.

Qualifications
