Hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’, the Health Innovation Network (HIN) South London supports the spread and adoption of innovation across health and social care. We are seeking a passionate Communications and Marketing Manager to lead marketing and communications activities that drive positive change across south London’s health and care organisations. This role involves strengthening relationships with internal programmes and external partners, managing multi-channel strategic campaigns, advising teams on communications strategies, and working autonomously or collaboratively to deliver high-profile projects.

The role is ideal for a flexible communications professional confident in using diverse communication techniques to support innovation and transformation in health and care. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including clinicians, innovators, journalists, and senior leaders to promote impactful campaigns and initiatives.

About Health Innovation Network
The HIN is one of 15 regional NHS England networks established to accelerate healthcare innovation, improve outcomes, and drive economic growth. It connects academics, NHS providers, commissioners, local authorities, patients, and industry to deliver evidence-based improvements across large populations. The HIN focuses on areas such as diabetes, cardiometabolic disease, mental health, community and social care, and digital health adoption. It supports education and commercial innovation, offering flexible working and opportunities to develop a broad range of skills.

Requirements

Experience
- Designing and delivering communication and engagement strategies
- Producing and guiding content creation including blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and webinars
- Managing senior and complex relationships with confidentiality and accuracy

About you
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of delivering projects within health and/or social care sectors
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and identifying growth opportunities
- Ability to manage deadlines and resources effectively
- Strategic thinker with strong prioritisation skills
- Great copywriting skills and creative flair

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Masters degree or equivalent experience desirable
- Training or professional experience in journalism, marketing, or communications
