About the Role
Ealing Council has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Business Support Manager to join the Children in Need (CIN) team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide strong leadership and organisational support within a fast-paced service, delivering robust and efficient business support to social care teams and service users. You will be responsible for planning, prioritising, managing, and reviewing the day-to-day workload of your team and yourself, while responding to fluctuating pressures and daily demands.
Your duties will include buildings management of the Greenford service centre, managing team budgets, recruitment of agency and permanent staff, and deputising for the Business Operations Manager. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of Imprest accounts, AllPay, and corporate credit card accounts, ensuring all income and expenditure is processed accurately with monthly reconciliations prepared and submitted. The financial transactions managed vary between approximately £30,000 and £50,000 per month.

Experience
- Proven experience as a manager leading a team in a dynamic, busy children’s service or similar setting.
- Experience managing finance including budget forecasting and manual cash handling.
- Experience in buildings management.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.

- Ability to manage conflicting priorities within deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills.
