About the Role
A rewarding opportunity awaits at the Ade Adepitan Short Break Centre, a centre of excellence in Brent for children and young people up to nineteen years old with profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex health needs, physical disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders. The centre provides opportunities for these children to enjoy short breaks and new experiences that positively impact their lives and help them achieve their goals.
The successful Deputy Team Manager will ensure the delivery of service in line with The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the framework for Ofsted inspections. Key responsibilities include managing complex physical care, supporting young people with autistic spectrum disorders, acting as shift leader with overall responsibility for the service during shifts, key-working individual children and young people, and implementing and monitoring their Care Plans to help them achieve their targets and goals.

Experience
- Proven experience working with children and young people with disabilities
- Experience in managing or leading a team in a residential or care setting is desirable

Qualifications
