About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Drainage Engineer to join our team covering North London and wider areas. The main purpose of this role is to carry out planned and reactive drainage tasks safely and to a high standard. You will provide a first line response to all emergencies during normal working hours and offer an out-of-hours service when on call to ensure our customers can continue trading without disruption.
Your duties will include effectively diagnosing and identifying faults and failures with drainage equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and escalating issues when necessary. You will ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements, adhering to best working practices and following the Health and Safety policy at all times. You will also sponsor and complete drainage surveys and technical reports, sharing key data with relevant personnel throughout field operations.
As a Brand Ambassador for Arcus, you will be the first point of contact for clients, making a positive impression by complying with the dress code and maintaining your vehicle in good condition. You will actively support colleagues by fostering a teamwork approach, assisting with training and upskilling apprentices, and communicating regularly to support the wider team.

Experience
Understanding of commercial drainage systems, ideally gained within a retail environment. Experience working unsupervised in a fast-paced environment dealing with store teams and members of the public is highly desirable.
