Who we are
Hawley Woods School provides a specialist environment and support primarily for autistic children and those needing a similarly adapted approach with small classes of 6-8 pupils within our calm, nurturing setting. Our school caters for children aged 7 to 16 years (Key Stages 2, 3 and 4). We support children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) who may be struggling with the pace of work, confidence, or sensory challenges in mainstream schools. We also help children who have been out of education to positively re-engage in learning tailored to their needs. Hawley Woods School is part of Kedleston Group, specialising in education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

We offer annual salary reviews and enhanced pension contributions for qualified teachers. You will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities and be part of a collaborative and dedicated team of professionals. This is a rewarding and fulfilling role where you can make a real difference to children’s lives.
