About the Role

As an Event and Bar Manager at BaxterStorey, you will play a vital role in delivering smooth and efficient operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and support during meetings, events, and functions.

You will be responsible for ensuring meeting and event rooms are set up to specification and that food and drinks are served professionally and promptly. This includes serving beer and wine while maintaining a warm and professional atmosphere, supporting a variety of events hosted in the pub, and managing the weekly sponsored lunch on Thursdays.

Your role will involve monitoring the work of colleagues, conducting appraisals, identifying training needs, and fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. You will be passionate about hospitality, staying aware of new industry trends and concepts to enhance the current offer.

Experience
Proven experience as a manager within a hospitality environment, ideally retail
Experience in creating a thriving and successful working environment
