About the Role
Join Enfield’s Integrated Family Help Service as a Social Worker Level 2 or 3. We are recruiting experienced social work practitioners who have completed their ASYE, as well as newly qualified social workers, to join our new integrated Family Help Teams. The Family Help Service is a preventive, integrated service that brings together advanced social work practitioners, social work practitioners, and family help practitioners to provide coordinated support to children and families in need, ranging from targeted early help to child protection.
The social work practitioners will manage a varied but manageable caseload, allowing time for meaningful direct work with children and support to empower parents and carers. The goal is to build on family strengths, prevent family breakdown, and improve outcomes for children and families. The service includes a thriving Family Decision Making Service and advocacy for families with lived experience of child protection processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a service undergoing transformation, with integrated family help teams launched in April 2026 and a developing multi-agency child protection team (MACPT) going live in November 2026. Our leadership culture values openness, learning, shared responsibility, staff wellbeing, professional development, and best practice. You will receive high-quality support from experienced managers and have opportunities to contribute to service development.
Enfield is committed to supporting staff development through a comprehensive induction and bespoke training programmes. Our Centre of Excellence fosters an environment for delivering high-quality casework to vulnerable children and young people, supporting continuous professional growth.
We encourage applications from social workers registered with Social Work England who demonstrate a good understanding of the diverse needs of children and experience applying a strength-based approach to assessment, planning, and review processes to empower families and children.

Experienced social work practitioners at level 3 or above who have completed their ASYE. Newly qualified social workers are also encouraged to apply. Experience in applying strength-based approaches to assessment, planning, and review is essential.
