About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience using rent accounting systems such as Northgate and finance accounting systems like Oracle, or similar software, to join an innovative Finance team as a Finance Assistant. Reporting to the Assistant Income Manager or Senior Income Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring all sources of rental income are accurately recorded on MTVH's finance accounting system, posted promptly and correctly to resident rent accounts in the housing management system, and reconciled with bank statements in a timely manner. This is a 6-month fixed term contract role and is suitable for MTVH's flexible working policy.

Requirements

Experience
Experience using rent accounting systems (e.g. Northgate) and finance accounting systems (e.g. Oracle) or similar software is essential. Previous experience handling a high volume of data entry with speed and accuracy is required.

About you
You will have a good standard of numeracy and literacy, be able to plan and organise your own workload to meet targets and deadlines, and be flexible in your approach. You should be a good team player and communicator, able to build strong working relationships with colleagues. A good level of technical competency in coding, posting, and reconciliation is important, along with a good working knowledge of financial IT packages and Excel.
