About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced multi-skilled Plasterer, ideally with experience working within social housing or local authority environments. You will undertake plastering and other trade repairs and maintenance work, delivering high quality, 'right first time', and cost-effective building services to the business and its customers. You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work, and recognised industrial standards, minimizing damage to the fabric of the property.

The role includes plaster boarding, skimming/bonding, external rendering, and potentially basic carpentry or other trade tasks. You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card for work duties.

Experience
Significant long-term trade experience in plastering is essential, ideally within social housing or local authority settings. Experience in plaster boarding, skimming/bonding, external rendering, and basic carpentry or other trades is desirable.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in plastering or related trade is required. It is preferable to hold Abrasive Wheel training, PASMA qualification, and the ability to read construction drawings.

About You
You must have a high level of skill and the ability to undertake associated trade tasks competently. A valid manual UK driving licence with at least one year of significant driving experience is essential, as you will be provided with a company van for work hours. MTVH reserves the right to withdraw employment offers if insurance requirements for the company fleet cannot be met.

To ensure safety and quality, a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be completed upon offer of employment, with renewal every three years via the DBS updating service.
