About the Role
Are you a tenacious and highly skilled professional with a passion for creating safer communities? Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) is seeking an exceptional Tenancy Enforcement Lead (Anti-Social Behaviour Officer) to lead investigations into tenancy fraud and manage high-level anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases across general needs, leasehold, and Care & Support homes. This pivotal role involves enforcing tenancy conditions while supporting residents to build sustainable lives and addressing complex issues such as gang culture and organised crime.
You will work closely with external agencies including the Police, Local Stakeholders, Council Community Safety teams, and tenancy fraud investigators. Building strong networks and partnerships will be essential to driving impactful change and enhancing neighbourhood safety.
Key responsibilities include leading investigations into tenancy fraud, gathering evidence, preparing witness statements and legal packs for court, attending ASB evictions, supporting victims, conducting regular case reviews with Local Housing Managers, and providing strategic guidance.
Experience
Extensive experience in anti-social behaviour management, safeguarding, and tenancy fraud investigations is essential. Experience from backgrounds such as Police, Probation, Housing, or Enforcement is desirable due to transferable skills.
About you
You must be able to manage a demanding workload and handle high-pressure situations with confidence and professionalism. Exceptional communication skills are required for sensitive conversations with residents and stakeholders. A passion for creating safer, stronger communities and a determination to make a tangible impact are vital.
Qualifications
While specific qualifications are not detailed, relevant experience and a professional approach to enforcement and community safety are critical. The role involves regular contact with vulnerable adults receiving social care, so a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be conducted upon offer of employment.
