The Graduate Design Engineer role is part of a 2-year development programme designed to build personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended learning approach. You will work under the supervision of Design Managers and collaborate closely with the site team. Initially based in Euston, London, you will later be required to attend the Calvert HS2 Maintenance Depot site regularly once the office is established.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Calvert Infrastructure Maintenance Depot (IMD), a major HS2 infrastructure facility
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to develop and coordinate multidisciplinary design solutions
- Assist in managing and coordinating RFIs (Requests for Information) between designers, contractors, and clients using project document control systems
- Support collation, review, and distribution of project deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in design workshops, coordination meetings, and project reviews to gain exposure to design development and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in coordinating project activities to ensure safe, timely delivery aligned with project objectives
- Support compliance with design, health and safety, environmental, and quality requirements while promoting Ferrovial Construction UK's vision and values

Experience
Graduates with a degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered). Design engineering experience and CSCS card are desirable but not essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages is expected. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation is advantageous.

Qualifications
Degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered). Essential to have the right to work in the UK at the start and throughout the graduate programme.
