London, with flexible working pattern including typically half your time from home and half on-site across hospitals within Guy's and St Thomas', King’s College Hospital, and potentially Greenwich and Lewisham Trusts.

Hours
Flexible working hours with occasional evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required to support a 24/7 NHS service.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Junior IT Trainer and Admin Helpdesk Support colleagues to join our ITCS Training team. You will support staff across multiple NHS trusts by creating and delivering engaging training sessions and materials, helping staff confidently use digital systems such as Epic and other clinical and corporate IT systems. Acting as a first point of contact for training enquiries, you will use service management systems like Halo to log, triage, and resolve requests efficiently and in line with best practice.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your training, presentation, and coaching skills with full support from experienced IT Trainers. You will deliver training through a variety of methods including face-to-face, online sessions, workshops, webinars, and workplace coaching. You will also support the administration and helpdesk functions of the ITCS Training team, ensuring smooth operation of training services and systems including the Learning Management System (LMS). The role involves working collaboratively across multiple sites and partner organisations, contributing to continuous improvement of training delivery and administration.

Requirements

Experience
- Delivering IT or clinical system training, both formal and informal, to clinical and clerical healthcare staff.
- Creating and maintaining training resources and user support materials.

About you
- Enthusiastic about teaching and coaching others with patience and approachability.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and digital tools.
- Excellent organisational, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience using service management systems such as Halo or equivalent.
- Knowledge of digital learning principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites and occasionally outside normal hours.

Qualifications
- Essential: Degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Desirable: LPI qualification, TPMA, COLF or equivalent.
- Desirable: Experience in healthcare systems including Epic/EPR/PAS environments.
- Desirable: Experience developing eLearning content.
- Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of the full ADDIE instructional design lifecycle.
