About the Role
Step up to a senior leadership role within the Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS), a Section 75 partnership between Hackney Borough Council and East London Foundation Trust (ELFT). As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead a team of mental health support workers, championing prevention, reablement, and recovery-focused approaches that maximise independence and reduce reliance on statutory services.
Based in the vibrant and progressive London Borough of Hackney, you will play a key role in delivering early intervention and person-centred support to adults with mental health needs. Your responsibilities will include supervising and guiding support workers, screening referrals, allocating appropriate support, and working collaboratively with social workers, health colleagues, residents, carers, and wider partners to promote wellbeing and social inclusion.

Experience
- Proven experience working with adults with mental health needs in health or social care settings.
- Strong understanding of prevention, reablement, and recovery-focused approaches.
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting staff within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to build positive relationships.

Qualifications
- A relevant vocational qualification in health or social care is desirable but not essential.
