About the Role
Are you a passionate, experienced Social Worker or Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) seeking a manageable caseload and an environment where your values drive your practice? Join the London Borough of Hackney, a progressive and dynamic authority committed to social justice, anti-racism, and fairness across all aspects of life including neurodiversity and poverty. You will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS), delivered in partnership with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT), during an exciting period of embedding redesigned pathways and strengthening practice.
We have vacancies for Experienced Qualified Social Workers (PO2-PO3) and AMHPs (PO4) who contribute to the rota. You will be trusted to apply your professional expertise and autonomy while working within a supportive team.
Your key responsibilities include undertaking Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and reviews; connecting meaningfully with residents and carers using professional curiosity and sound judgement; working collaboratively with health colleagues and partners to provide timely, person-centred care; and embedding trauma-informed, strengths-based, and anti-racist practice to help residents achieve outcomes that matter to them.
We offer a culture of learning and empowerment, with a comprehensive training and development offer including advanced study, mentoring, and trauma-informed practice. Additional benefits include tenancy deposit loans, early access to pay, discounted gym membership, and flexible working arrangements. Join us to work in a place where your values help achieve the best outcomes for our residents.
