About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Mobile Gas Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, covering sites across the South East of England. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading property services providers, delivering high-quality maintenance and compliance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector buildings. As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and compliance activities on a range of commercial gas systems and associated plant. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive a safe, efficient, and professional service.

Key responsibilities include servicing, maintenance, and repairs to commercial gas systems and equipment; diagnosing faults and undertaking remedial works to minimise downtime; completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules and statutory requirements; ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard; accurately completing job records, compliance documentation, and reports using mobile technology; responding to reactive maintenance requests within agreed service levels; identifying and reporting opportunities for improvements and additional works; building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues; and participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Experience
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial gas equipment
- Experience working within a Facilities Management or building services environment is desirable
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Qualifications
- Commercial Gas qualifications (ACS Gas Safe certified) essential
- Knowledge of current gas safety legislation and industry standards
- Desirable qualifications include LPG, Oil, or catering gas certifications
- Electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of BMS systems and associated building services plant is beneficial
