SE1 7PW. Overview of site/Ward: Cygnet Churchill is a 57 bed inpatient service for men in London. Cygnet Churchill has four wards including an emergency acute admissions service (Juniper Ward), two high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services (Maple Court and Mulberry Court) and a 4 bed step down rehabilitation service (Elm Court). The occupational therapy department at Cygnet Churchill is very well resourced and the building has been designed with rehabilitation in mind; facilities include a therapy piazza with activity rooms, music room, art room, a barber shop, library, gym, internet café, therapy kitchens, a dining room and a therapy garden. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass OT assessments, interventions and support for individuals within the service. In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to individual’s diagnosis and identified needs. This will be based upon findings from assessments including associated risks, in order to develop treatment plans accordingly within the multidisciplinary team.
