About the Role
Cygnet Health Care was established in 1988 as an independent provider of health and social care services in England, Scotland and Wales. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Band 5 Occupational Therapist position. Cygnet encourages applications from newly qualified, or soon to be qualified, Occupational Therapists. We provide a monthly Band 5 development programme, a 12-month OT preceptorship supported by your supervisor with peer support from other Band 5s too, and weekly 1:1s with your supervisor to help you feel empowered and supported in your role. Cygnet Churchill, in South London, is an inpatient mental health hospital for men, with four wards including emergency acute admissions and high support inpatient rehabilitation services. You will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to service users’ diagnoses and identified occupational needs, working as an integral member of the Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) while also working autonomously with the support of an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Experience
No specific experience required, but a passion for Occupational Therapy is essential.

Qualifications
