Your Role Service Line: Mental Health Adults Personality Disorder Service Line Summary of the site: Upping ward is a female acute ward with 12 beds at Cygnet Hospital Beckton. Upping ward provides a safe and stabilising environment for individuals who are experiencing personality disorder and require a hospital admission. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant the role involves planning and implementing activities as a therapeutic medium under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist. The post holder will be offered support and guidance to utilise standardised assessments and implement structured groups. In this role you will work within an MDT (which consists of Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Medical and Social Work) to support recovery and rehabilitation for service users on Hooper Ward.
