About the Role
As a Planning Support Officer at Peabody, you will play a vital role in supporting planners, supervisors and operational teams to ensure the smooth delivery of a customer-focused responsive repairs service. Your responsibilities will include coordinating a variety of administrative and scheduling tasks, maintaining clear communication between teams and residents, and helping to ensure repairs progress efficiently from start to finish. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and a customer-focused approach to contribute directly to excellent property services for our residents.
Key duties include liaising with operatives and supervisors to arrange and update appointments, toolbox talks and training sessions; managing supervisors’ diaries and schedules; monitoring material orders by liaising with suppliers and updating systems; supporting the Complaints Team with issue resolution and tracking outcomes; responding professionally to enquiries from residents, external agencies and internal teams; keeping residents informed throughout their repair journey and managing expectations; analysing customer satisfaction feedback and contacting residents as needed; providing administrative support to PGM Operational Management and maintaining essential records; helping maintain performance metrics and KPIs; and supporting wider Property Services areas including responsive repairs, voids, damp & mould, aids & adaptations and planned maintenance.
This is a varied and fast-paced administrative role requiring accuracy, strong communication skills and excellent organisation. You will support multiple teams and must be confident managing changing priorities while maintaining high standards.
Experience
- Experience working in a busy administrative or scheduling role, ideally within repairs or maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills and confidence communicating with the public.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
