You will collaborate with industry leaders and talented teams to deliver innovative, high-profile projects, including complex station regenerations and major electrification schemes. This role offers the opportunity to lead technically challenging assignments, drive project success, and help create sustainable solutions that positively impact communities and the environment. You will lead and manage multi-disciplinary rail engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Provide effective leadership and technical guidance to project teams, promote a collaborative and inclusive culture, build strong client and stakeholder relationships, and oversee project programmes, financial controls, and resource allocation. Champion health, safety, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle while fostering team development through mentorship and support.

Requirements

Experience
- Significant experience in UK rail projects with strong knowledge of Network Rail GRIP processes and procedures
- Proven track record in design and management of major electrification schemes and LV building services
- Experience as a competent Designer, Checker, and/or CRE in renewals, signalling power, point heating, and DNO supplies
- Strong technical expertise in rail M&E systems for depots and stations, with solid understanding of BS7671
- Experience in project and commercial management, including change control and programme delivery
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution is desirable.
