About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. In our Cities and Places sector, we shape everything from homes and schools to major MoJ programmes, offices, and retail-led commercial developments. Working with government and private-sector clients, we create spaces that genuinely improve how people live, work, and connect—building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.
These ambitions come with challenges such as tight budgets, funding pressures, complex stakeholder needs, sustainability demands, and the constant need to adapt at pace. At Mace, navigating these challenges is what we do best. We bring flexibility, adaptability, and deep technical expertise to programme and project delivery—partnering closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver outcomes that matter.
Through cutting-edge technology, modern construction techniques, and a relentless focus on social value, we help deliver projects that meet today’s requirements while supporting long-term goals. Projects that stand the test of time and create thriving, future-proofed communities.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for applying technical expertise in health and safety regulations; fostering inclusivity and team wellbeing; ensuring robust quality systems and service excellence; managing project delivery from inception to completion; managing budgets, risks, and mitigations; coordinating design, consultants, and stakeholders collaboratively; maintaining accurate plans, records, and handover documentation; driving innovation and best practice across teams; and upholding Mace values while supporting sustainable business outcomes.
