About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. We are working with a number of NHS Trusts in London and are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to direct at both project and programme level on behalf of Trusts' capital delivery schemes within the UK healthcare sector.

You will be responsible for developing and embedding change control processes across the programme, working within the Programme Management Office (PMO) core team. This includes integrating change control processes with the digital strategy, developing functional requirements for a digital change control solution, and supporting its implementation and adoption.

You will ensure consistency and integrity of the programme baseline by maintaining accurate change registers and driving timely approval or rejection of proposals. Managing operational issues of programme controls, working closely with change owners and functional leads to ensure consistency of change proposals, and overseeing change volumes, status, dependencies, and emerging concerns will be key.

Supporting strategic delivery decisions, aligning change control with risk management, and assisting in the identification, management, and mitigation of risks and opportunities are essential parts of the role.

Additionally, you will support the development and delivery of change control guidance, training, and communications for programme teams, Trusts, and other stakeholders. Building effective relationships and providing practical support to ensure consistent application of change control processes across the programme is vital.

Experience
- Proven management of change control methodologies and techniques across programmes.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in change control/project controls within major construction projects or programmes, preferably within the UK healthcare sector.
- Experience rolling out new processes across matrix organisations.
- Good understanding of the different functions within project controls.
- Digitally savvy with the ability to support digital change control solutions.
