
Location
Stanmore, with travel required across multiple sites including MVWC, BALC, Sandringham, and Redbridge.
Hours
36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including participation in an out-of-hours emergency rota (1 week in every 6).

About the Role
Join Jewish Care’s Property Team and help shape the spaces that shape lives. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety, compliance, and upkeep of a dynamic portfolio of 23 properties across the Southeast of England. This mobile role involves working across geographic hubs to ensure smooth building operations, managing contractors, and upholding high standards in health & safety, compliance, and day-to-day maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include leading property support across designated sites, collaborating with Resource Managers to meet operational needs, ensuring statutory compliance and scheduled maintenance are completed efficiently, and maintaining meticulous records. You will manage minor repairs and maintenance contracts, identify trends for long-term planning, oversee minor project works from design to delivery, conduct site inspections and audits, manage budgets effectively, and contribute to the Property team’s emergency response rota.

Experience
- Proven experience in facilities management, contractor supervision, and multi-site operations.
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation including RIDDOR, CDM, Asbestos regulations, Gas Safety, and related compliance.
- Experience working with CAFM systems and MS Office tools.
- Clean UK driving licence with flexibility to travel regularly across sites.

Qualifications
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (essential).
- BIFM/IWFM Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
Desirable but Not Essential
- Background in care environments or similar sectors.
- Experience in team management and/or overseeing construction/refurbishment projects.
- Knowledge of BMS systems and mechanical/electrical systems.
- “Built Environment” qualification or Fire Marshall training.
