About the Role
Man Group is a global alternative investment management firm focused on delivering outperformance for sophisticated clients through Systematic, Discretionary and Solutions offerings. As a Reference Data Specialist, you will provide oversight of the outsourced Reference Data team at the Bank of New York, with a focus on driving improvements and ensuring data integrity. You will own and monitor order and trade execution routing to optimise Straight Through Processing (STP) rates. Key responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy of security, account, legal entity, fund and execution data; reviewing charge rule setups to ensure efficient trade settlement; managing data requests in compliance with internal and external controls; initiating technical set-up for new funds and managed accounts; collaborating with IT Operations to automate and secure file delivery; and managing business-as-usual projects as capacity allows. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your product knowledge and operations experience within alternative investments during an exciting phase of Man Group's business cycle.

Experience
- Proven experience in Trade Operations within an investment management firm, investment bank, or hedge fund
- Knowledge of Reference Data environments across a broad range of investment products
- Understanding of financial markets
- Proficient in Excel and Bloomberg
