About the Role
At Sam’s Riverside, we believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for both our guests and our team. Founded in 2019 by renowned restaurateur Sam Harrison and business partner Fanny Stocker, we celebrate the finest seasonal produce from across the UK with a focus on Anglo-French cuisine. Our menus feature ingredients sourced from small artisan suppliers, ensuring quality and freshness in every dish. Complementing our food is a carefully curated wine list, handpicked by Sam himself, featuring selections from wineries he has personally visited.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be a key part of the day-to-day leadership team, supporting smooth service, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring every guest receives warm, attentive hospitality. You will oversee shifts with confidence, help manage bookings and floor plans, and work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep everything running like clockwork. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, people-focused, and ready to take the next step in a hospitality leadership career.
Sam's Genuine Restaurants Group has received notable recognition including being named the 11th best place to work in hospitality in the UK by Caterer in 2023, nominations for Catey's Restaurateur of the Year 2023, and being voted the 2nd favourite restaurant in London in the Harden's Guide 2023.
We offer a range of benefits including team festivities, friends & family discounts across venues, free meals on shift, a generous referral programme, confidential employee assistance, discounts on restaurants, retail, gyms and travel, a cycle to work scheme, trade prices on wines and spirits, opportunities for progression and development, private healthcare access after 2 years, and performance awards and bonuses.
Milestones to celebrate your journey with us include a new starter celebration dinner after your first month, an annual complimentary lunch or dinner for two on your work anniversary, and loyalty rewards including extra holiday after your third year.
