About the Role
As a Sales Associate and Key Holder, you will act as the leading force on the sales floor, demonstrating product knowledge and managing store operations. You will run the store independently during non-peak times and provide a positive customer experience following the TUMI Selling Ceremony. Motivating the sales team to demonstrate The Difference and developing client relationships to increase sales are key aspects of this role. You will be responsible for attaining monthly and quarterly sales and SPH goals, building strong partnerships with co-workers and management, and encouraging a culture of training and development within the team.

Your duties include assisting with training associates on the TUMI Difference and Elite Moments, meeting or exceeding sales goals, and maintaining excellent customer service through product knowledge and positive client interaction. You will communicate regularly with the Store Manager regarding personnel, merchandise, and operations, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to trade feedback.

Merchandising responsibilities involve adapting Visual Merchandising Guidelines, meeting deadlines for window and interior changes, maintaining stock condition, and training the team to uphold visual standards. You will assist in orientation and training of new associates, support company philosophies, motivate the team, and maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.

Operational duties include opening and closing the store in the absence of management, maintaining accurate records and cash balances, processing shipments promptly, and ensuring a secure, hazard-free environment adhering to Health and Safety policies.

Customer service excellence is essential, exemplifying the TUMI Difference and Elite Moments, following the TUMI University training roadmap, and building client relationships through the TUMI App by Proximity. You will also support loss prevention by maintaining inventory, reporting issues, and controlling shrinkage through awareness and good customer service.

This role requires flexibility, the ability to work under pressure, and physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift luggage up to 15kg safely according to manual handling procedures.

Experience
Previous experience in retail is required. Experience in training and motivating teams is advantageous.

You are a team player and motivator with excellent people skills and brand sensibility. You are target driven, flexible, productive during downtime, and able to work under pressure. You have a good command of English and the physical ability to stand for long periods, bend frequently, and lift luggage up to 15kg safely.

Qualifications
Computer literacy is required. Adherence to manual lifting procedures and Health and Safety guidelines is essential.
