About the Role
The Sales Executive is responsible for supporting marketing, leasing, and occupancy/revenue objectives for Canvas/Chapter by delivering activities related to leasing to new residents and renewals of existing residents. Key responsibilities include qualifying leads, arranging community tours and unit viewings, and completing the necessary resident administration to secure leases. You will work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional resident journey, responding to all incoming sales channels and proactively contacting leads to convert them. The role involves answering calls, emails, and live chat enquiries professionally and promptly to meet central sales team KPIs. You will qualify potential applicants, maintain accurate data in relevant systems, convert enquiries into viewing appointments and leases, conduct viewings and follow-ups, and negotiate to convert leads into residents. Additionally, you will follow up on documentation, contract returns, and payment processing, update property portals to generate leads, plan daily activities to maximize productivity, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the community, amenities, units, and local area. Supporting all communities and cross-selling based on resident requirements, promoting the property, monitoring competitor activity, and assisting with open day events are also key parts of the role.
Experience
Proven experience in a sales role within world-class accommodation, hospitality, leisure, or reservations/membership environments. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to influence and adapt quickly to exceed customer service and sales targets. Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other systems such as databases or booking systems (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, Salesforce).

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. Culturally aware with adaptable relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills. Approachable and welcoming personality. Proficient in using online and web tools for research and information presentation. Fluent verbal and written English communication skills. Ideally a Mandarin speaker.
Qualifications
Good general education demonstrating literacy and numeracy.
