About the Role
Your role will be responsible for ensuring the security of all residents, guests, and members who enter both the Residences and Hotel areas at Raffles London at The OWO. You will work closely with the wider hotel team to secure all areas of the hotel and residential spaces, both front and back of house. This includes monitoring and maintaining security systems, responding to alarms and emergency calls, and providing a calm, professional presence throughout the property.
The position requires the ability to anticipate security needs while delivering a luxurious and high-quality level of service. You will liaise with all hotel departments to ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience that surpasses expectations.
Key responsibilities include assisting guests and residents, ensuring safety and security across the premises, monitoring fire panels and alarms, patrolling public and private areas, managing lost property, reporting security risks, escorting guests safely, and liaising with external suppliers. You may also be required to cover additional duties or departments as needed.
Leadership qualities are important, including maintaining composure under pressure and providing guidance to the team when necessary. You will promote creativity and innovation among colleagues while upholding the highest standards of health and safety, including strict adherence to fire, emergency, and bomb procedures.
Raffles London is a prestigious luxury hotel located in a historic Grade II* listed Edwardian building, offering an exceptional environment to deliver outstanding security and guest service.
Experience
Valid and in-date SIA Licence is essential. Proven experience in luxury security or a similar role is required. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.

A passion for hospitality and an understanding of the UHNW (ultra-high-net-worth) customer is desirable.
Qualifications
Valid SIA Licence is mandatory. Other qualifications are not specified but a commitment to ongoing development and adherence to health and safety standards is expected.
