About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) service at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The SEN service is responsible for carrying out Education Health & Care (EHC) needs assessments, issuing and maintaining EHC plans, and coordinating the educational placement of children and young people with SEND. The successful applicant will be passionate and driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse community. As Team Manager, you will lead a dynamic and diligent SEN Statutory EHCP Co-ordinator team, support the SEN Service Manager to deliver key priorities, and work collaboratively with schools and key partners both inside and outside Tower Hamlets to ensure the best outcomes for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Experience
Proven experience as a SEN manager or in a similar leadership role within special educational needs services. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and deliver statutory duties related to Education Health & Care Plans.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in education, social care, or related fields are desirable. Evidence of continuous professional development in SEN management or leadership is advantageous.
